Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of long-term grid expansion and reinforcement plans.
• Oversee the design and specification of substations, overhead lines, and underground cables.
• Conduct advanced grid stability studies and impact assessments for new generation connections.
• Manage a team of electrical grid engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship.
• Ensure adherence to national and international standards, codes, and best practices in grid engineering.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to facilitate grid development and operational changes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of comprehensive experience in electrical grid engineering , transmission, or distribution.
• Proficiency with grid simulation and analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
• Strong knowledge of power system protection, control systems, and substation design.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with the integration of renewable energy sources into the grid.
• Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
