Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join their pioneering technology team, operating entirely remotely. Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement real-time embedded software for new product development.
- Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
- Develop low-level drivers, firmware, and operating system components.
- Optimize software performance, memory usage, and power consumption.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and integration strategies.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in both development and production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or a related field.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in embedded software development, with significant experience in a lead or senior role.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and assembly language for embedded systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar.
- Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
