Our client is searching for an experienced and innovative Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of embedded hardware and firmware solutions for new products.
- Oversee the implementation of real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and firmware.
- Define embedded system requirements, specifications, and test plans.
- Mentor and guide a team of embedded engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, product management) to ensure seamless product integration.
- Stay current with emerging embedded technologies and best practices, driving innovation within the team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in embedded systems development, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems and experience with RTOS.
- Expertise in embedded hardware design, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Proven experience in leading remote engineering teams and managing project lifecycles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
