About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to join their pioneering remote engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of embedded hardware and firmware solutions for new product introductions.
- Define system requirements, architecture, and software specifications for embedded systems.
- Oversee and contribute to the coding of firmware in C/C++ and other relevant languages, focusing on efficiency and reliability.
- Implement and manage rigorous testing procedures, including unit testing, integration testing, and system validation.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers across geographically dispersed teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware and hardware integration issues, ensuring product stability and performance in a remote setting .
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of professional experience in embedded systems development, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Expertise in microcontroller architecture (e.g., ARM, RISC-V), real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded C/C++.
- Strong proficiency in debugging tools, JTAG, and logic analyzers.
- Experience with various communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and Ethernet.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers effectively within a remote work environment .
