About the Role:
Reporting to the UK ES Manager, this role ensures on-site environmental compliance and provides expert guidance while championing H&MV’s core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular audits, inspections, and aspect impact assessments to meet regulatory, company and client standards.
- Delivers on-site training and toolbox talks to prevent incidents and promote sustainability.
- Tracks project performance through regular reporting and feedback.
- Investigates environmental incidents to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and serves as the project escalation point for ES concerns.
- Cultivates strong stakeholder and team partnerships to drive project success and professional synergy.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in environmental or sustainability role, ideally within a Civils or Engineering business
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience conducting environmental audits, performance monitoring, and risk assessments.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- High level of IT literacy
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development, with a growth mindset
