About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Lead Field Technician to join their remote-first team, supporting operations across the North West, with a strong connection to Manchester . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for specialized equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field technicians, fostering skill development.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.
• Develop and implement improved maintenance strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct site assessments and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Act as a technical point of contact for high-priority client issues and escalations.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) as a Field Technician or similar role, with demonstrable leadership capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of system diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to technical challenges.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for client visits and team coordination.
