About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Frontend Developer to spearhead their development efforts in Coventry . This is a key technical leadership role where you will guide a talented team of frontend engineers in building sophisticated, user-facing web applications. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, ensuring code quality, and driving best practices across the frontend stack. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Architect and develop scalable, responsive, and maintainable frontend solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure the implementation of robust testing strategies.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver seamless, integrated product features.
• Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility across various devices and browsers.
• Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies and trends, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in professional frontend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience with at least one major frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of state management, build tools (Webpack, Parcel), and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
