Lead Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead Frontend Developer to guide their UI/UX development efforts in Southampton . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of user-friendly, high-performance web applications.
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components and a comprehensive design system.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, translating them into high-quality, responsive code.
• Mentor and guide junior frontend developers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with state management libraries, build tools (Webpack, Babel), and version control systems (Git).
