About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Frontend Developer to head their development efforts in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . You will be responsible for architecting and implementing user-facing features, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience across all devices. This role involves leading a team of frontend developers, mentoring them, and driving best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate requirements into functional and engaging web applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of frontend developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
• Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
