About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Frontend Developer to spearhead their front-end development efforts in Coventry . You will be instrumental in architecting and implementing the user interface for our cutting-edge web applications, ensuring a seamless, performant, and engaging user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Architect scalable and maintainable front-end codebases, establishing coding standards and best practices for the team.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend developers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define and integrate APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and application functionality.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Conduct code reviews, participate in architectural discussions, and stay abreast of emerging front-end technologies and trends.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Deep expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and at least one major frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale, performance-optimized web applications.
- Familiarity with state management libraries, build tools (Webpack, Babel), and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
