About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Frontend Engineer to join their dynamic product development team in Brighton . This leadership role focuses on architecting and implementing cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences for their flagship products. You will guide a team of talented frontend developers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate complex ideas into intuitive and engaging web applications. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of highly responsive, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of frontend developers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and UI/UX Designers to define and execute the frontend roadmap.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Champion modern frontend development practices, including testing strategies and performance optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript , HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with API integration and working with backend services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
