About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Frontend Engineer to join their dynamic product development team in Brighton . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of highly responsive, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of frontend developers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and UI/UX Designers to define and execute the frontend roadmap.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Champion modern frontend development practices, including testing strategies and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript , HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Experience with API integration and working with backend services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
