Lead Full Stack Developer - E-commerce Platforms

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead the development of their state-of-the-art e-commerce platforms in Coventry . In this critical role, you will guide a team of talented engineers, architecting and implementing robust, scalable solutions that enhance customer experience and drive online sales. You will be instrumental in defining the technical roadmap, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-performance, secure web applications. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce solutions using modern frameworks.
• Oversee the design and implementation of both front-end (React, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java) components.
• Drive best practices in software development , including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
• Proven expertise in building complex web applications, particularly within the e-commerce domain .
• Strong command of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue/Angular) and back-end languages/frameworks (Node.js, Django, Spring Boot).
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on team development.
