About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Full Stack Developer to guide their web application development efforts, working remotely from Derby . You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying robust, scalable web applications, mentoring a team of developers, and ensuring the highest standards of code quality and technical excellence. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, passionate about building high-impact solutions and fostering a collaborative, innovative development culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of full-stack web applications, from concept to deployment.
• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions using modern frameworks and best practices for both frontend and backend.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring code quality through reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and achievable development plans.
• Oversee the integration of various technologies and services, ensuring seamless application performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in full stack development , with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring).
• Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent understanding of software architecture patterns, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team in a remote setting.
