About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead development efforts within their technology hub in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable full-stack web applications using modern frameworks.
- Mentor and guide a team of software developers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote efficient development workflows.
- Architect robust database solutions, optimizing for performance and data integrity.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance development processes and product capabilities.
Requirements
- Significant experience in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Expertise in frontend technologies such as React , Angular , or Vue.js .
- Deep knowledge of backend languages and frameworks, including Node.js , Python/Django , or Java/Spring .
- Proficiency in relational database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and experience with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage technical debt effectively.
