About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead their software development initiatives in Birmingham . This leadership role is crucial for guiding the technical direction of our web applications, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases. You will be responsible for mentoring a team of developers, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers , fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met through rigorous code reviews and best practices.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and product innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in full stack web development , with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#).
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API design.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
