About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Full-Stack Developer to spearhead their development efforts in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated full-stack web applications, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and performance feedback.
- Define and enforce coding standards , best practices, and architectural patterns across the development team.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and project roadmaps.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of all developed applications, addressing technical debt proactively.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior architect role.
- Expertise in both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, .NET) technologies.
- Deep understanding of database design , cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, GCP), and DevOps principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are mandatory for this role in Newcastle upon Tyne .
