Lead Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full-Stack Developer to spearhead development efforts in Birmingham . In this critical role, you will guide a talented team of developers, architecting and implementing innovative web solutions from the frontend to the backend. You will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. This is an on-site position that requires a strong leader ready to build and mentor a high-performing development team within a collaborative business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and project oversight.
• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using technologies like React and .NET Core .
• Oversee the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and database solutions (e.g., SQL Server).
• Drive best practices in coding standards, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Expertise in backend development using C# and .NET Core.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
