About the Role

Our client is searching for an exceptional Lead Game Narrative Designer to spearhead the storytelling efforts for groundbreaking projects. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling narratives that resonate with players, guiding the narrative team to deliver exceptional writing and lore that enriches the game world. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the overarching narrative vision, story arcs, character backstories, and world-building documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of narrative designers and writers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Write and edit high-quality dialogue, quest descriptions, lore entries, and other narrative content.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and level designers to ensure narrative integration across all game systems and environments.
• Champion best practices in narrative design and storytelling within the company.
• Provide constructive feedback on narrative elements from other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in game narrative design , with a proven track record of shipping successful titles.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or lead role, managing creative teams.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for character development and pacing.
• Familiarity with game development pipelines and tools, including narrative scripting or quest design tools.
• Strong understanding of player psychology and how to create emotionally engaging experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a remote team setting.
