Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of core gameplay systems and mechanics.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level programmers, providing technical direction and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and producers to translate creative vision into functional game features.
• Develop robust, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical roadmap of the project.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior programming role.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex gameplay systems (e.g., AI, physics, character controllers).
• Excellent understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a programming team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating high-quality, engaging games.
