Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of game programmers, fostering a productive and collaborative development environment.
- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and efficient game systems and features using C++ and game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Architect and optimize core game engine components to ensure maximum performance and stability.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and producers to translate creative vision into technical specifications and functional gameplay.
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of game builds.
- Champion best practices in coding, testing, and version control within the programming team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional game programming experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Expertise in C++ and experience with major game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Strong understanding of game architecture, physics, AI, and rendering pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor programming teams and manage complex technical projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating innovative games and interactive experiences within the arts and entertainment domain.
