Key Responsibilities

• Lead the geological and geophysical interpretation of seismic data to identify and de-risk potential exploration targets.
• Develop integrated subsurface models incorporating geological, geophysical, and engineering data.
• Manage exploration project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct prospectivity assessments and economic evaluations for new venture opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior geoscientists and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geoscience technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or a related geoscience discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in oil and gas exploration , with a proven track record of successful discoveries.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation, sequence stratigraphy, and basin analysis .
• Proficiency with industry-standard software packages (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, Hampson-Russell).
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and portfolio management in exploration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
