Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of geothermal power systems and associated infrastructure.
- Oversee subsurface exploration activities, including drilling campaigns and reservoir characterization.
- Manage project lifecycles, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful delivery of geothermal projects.
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for new geothermal energy prospects.
- Ensure all projects comply with stringent environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Mentor and manage a team of geothermal engineers and geoscientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geothermal Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in the geothermal energy industry , with demonstrable leadership experience.
- Extensive knowledge of geothermal resource assessment, well design, and power plant operations.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Familiarity with relevant software for reservoir modeling and project management.
- Strong understanding of geology, geophysics, and subsurface engineering principles.
