Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of geothermal power plant projects from exploration to operation.
- Develop and implement strategies for reservoir assessment, drilling, and subsurface engineering.
- Oversee the selection and integration of geothermal technologies, including turbines and heat exchangers.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of geothermal engineers and geoscientists.
- Ensure all projects adhere to strict safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices in the energy sector .
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Geothermal Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related geoscience field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the geothermal energy industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in managing complex geothermal projects, including resource assessment and project development.
- Expertise in reservoir modeling, well design, and subsurface characterization.
- Strong understanding of power plant engineering and grid integration for renewable energy sources.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
