About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Lead Graphic Designer to join their established marketing team in Sunderland . In this vital role, you will oversee the visual identity and brand messaging across all marketing channels, leading the design process from concept to completion. You will work closely with the marketing director and other stakeholders to develop compelling visual assets that elevate the brand and engage target audiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and design original graphics for a variety of platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
• Lead the design process for marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and visual impact.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective visual solutions.
• Oversee and manage the production of all visual assets, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering their creative development.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques to keep our client's visual identity fresh and relevant.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Proven ability to lead design projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts.
• Experience in managing or mentoring junior design staff is a plus.
