About the Role
Our client is looking for a visionary Lead Graphic Designer to spearhead their creative output in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling visual narratives that resonate with target audiences and drive business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and creative direction.
- Develop and oversee the execution of visual concepts for marketing campaigns, digital assets, branding initiatives, and more.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, adhering to and evolving brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to align visual strategies with business goals.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Stay abreast of design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design capabilities, from branding to digital and print.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Experience managing and developing design teams.
- Exceptional understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
