About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Lead Graphic Designer to spearhead their creative output from their bustling office in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical in defining and elevating the brand's visual identity across all marketing channels and digital platforms. You will manage a small team of designers, fostering a creative environment and ensuring the delivery of high-impact visual assets. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling brand narratives through design, working closely with marketing and sales departments to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative graphic design concepts for a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads, social media content, websites, and print collateral.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of graphic designers, overseeing project workflows and ensuring high-quality output.
• Maintain and evolve the company's brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to develop creative strategies that align with business goals.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in graphic design , with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, digital design, and print design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• Experience managing design projects from brief to final delivery, including team collaboration.
• Exceptional understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
