Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy , identifying opportunities for robotic and automated systems to improve operational performance.
- Lead the design, selection, and implementation of automated machinery, robotic cells, and integrated systems, ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows.
- Oversee project management for automation initiatives, from concept and feasibility studies through to commissioning and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and technology partners to ensure the successful deployment of cutting-edge automation solutions.
- Establish best practices for robotics programming , maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring reliability and maximizing uptime.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers and technicians, fostering expertise in automation technologies and driving innovation in Liverpool 's industrial sector.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong specialization in automation and robotics implementation.
- Proven experience in leading complex automation projects, including system design, integration, and commissioning.
- In-depth knowledge of various robotic platforms, PLC programming, industrial control systems, and simulation software.
- Exceptional remote leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire technical teams virtually.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in automated environments.
