Lead Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lead Industrial Engineer to drive innovation and efficiency within their operations in Coventry . You will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers, setting strategic direction for process improvements, and overseeing major projects from conception to implementation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and a deep understanding of modern manufacturing techniques to ensure optimal operational performance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for operational efficiency, focusing on areas like workflow optimization, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
• Oversee the design and implementation of new production lines, equipment installations, and process modifications.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for enhancement using statistical tools.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the design and execution of engineering projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, delivering successful outcomes on schedule.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with a significant portion in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams and drive significant operational improvements.
• Experience with advanced simulation and modeling software, along with robust data analytics capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior management.
