About the Role

Our client, a leading name in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to join their innovative team in Derby . This is a senior role responsible for guiding the strategy and implementation of process improvements across the organization. You will lead a team of engineers, drive complex projects, and collaborate with senior management to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives across all production facilities.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of industrial engineers and technical staff.
• Oversee the planning and execution of major capital projects related to process upgrades and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align operational strategies with business objectives.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certification preferred), and project management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
