About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead process optimization initiatives within their Coventry, West Midlands facility. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic industrial engineering projects aimed at improving productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor a team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of production lines, supply chains, and logistical operations to identify areas for optimization.
• Design and oversee the implementation of new facility layouts, equipment, and technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track operational efficiency and project progress.
• Champion the adoption of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in industrial engineering , with a significant portion in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and process re-engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience with simulation software, ERP systems, and advanced statistical analysis tools.
