Lead Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead efficiency initiatives within their manufacturing operations in Coventry, West Midlands . This senior role involves providing technical leadership, guiding project teams, and developing long-term strategies for operational improvement. You will be at the forefront of implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies, ensuring our client maintains a competitive edge. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale industrial engineering projects across multiple sites.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of industrial engineers and technicians.
• Develop and oversee the execution of strategic plans for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Evaluate and select new technologies and equipment, managing their integration into existing production systems.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track progress and measure the impact of implemented solutions.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, promoting best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering , with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and managing engineering teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and advanced process modeling techniques.
• Experience with simulation software, data analytics tools, and automation technologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
