About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead their operational efficiency initiatives in Edinburgh . This leadership role involves guiding a team of engineers, developing strategic plans for process improvement, and overseeing the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring scalability, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety across all production activities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of industrial and process engineers.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and validation of new production systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Drive the adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies across the organisation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex process improvement projects.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and production planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
