About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead their remote operations strategy. This pivotal role involves defining and implementing best practices in process optimization, efficiency, and workflow management across the entire organization, all within a fully remote framework. You will lead a team of engineers, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a proven ability to manage complex projects and inspire teams without direct physical oversight, contributing to the company's operational excellence from any location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic industrial engineering initiatives to optimize operational performance and drive efficiency across the organization.
- Manage and mentor a team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development support.
- Design, implement, and refine complex manufacturing and logistical processes, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Utilize advanced data analytics, simulation modeling, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and address operational challenges.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align engineering strategies with business goals, ensuring seamless integration and communication in a remote setting .
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor progress, and report on the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and advanced process simulation techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
