About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and influential Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead efficiency initiatives within their extensive operations in Coventry, West Midlands . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers , fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of major process improvement projects across multiple sites.
• Develop long-term strategic plans for operational efficiency, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
• Drive the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
• Conduct rigorous performance analysis, identifying key areas for cost reduction and productivity gains.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline; a PhD is advantageous.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in industrial engineering , with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and Theory of Constraints.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly within the Coventry industrial landscape.
