Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead Information Security Analyst to join their dynamic team based in London . You will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust security strategies, leading threat detection and response initiatives, and mentoring junior analysts. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
- Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to a team of information security professionals.
- Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, advising on appropriate countermeasures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in information security roles.
- Proven track record in incident response , threat intelligence, and risk management.
- Deep understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
