About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and visionary Lead Information Security Architect to spearhead their security architecture initiatives. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while designing and implementing the foundational security frameworks that protect our critical digital assets. Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise information security architecture, ensuring it is comprehensive, secure, and future-proof.
• Develop security blueprints, standards, and guidelines for the design and implementation of new systems and services.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and methodologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to translate security requirements into actionable architectural designs.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for complex projects and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineering teams and architects.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with a strong focus on security architecture and design.
• Deep understanding of various security domains, including network security, cloud security, application security, and data protection.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for large-scale, distributed environments, preferably in a remote setting.
• Expertise in security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
