About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Makeup Artist & Beauty Consultant to join their dynamic team in Portsmouth . Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional makeup application for events, photoshoots, and personal consultations.
• Lead and train a team of beauty consultants on makeup techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
• Develop and deliver engaging makeup masterclasses and workshops for clients and staff.
• Manage the inventory of makeup products, ensuring adequate stock levels and effective visual merchandising.
• Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and recommend suitable products and application techniques.
• Stay current with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations in the beauty industry.

Requirements

• Professional makeup artist certification or equivalent extensive experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional Makeup Artist.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a retail or salon environment is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of colour theory, facial anatomy, and diverse skin tones.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Ability to create a portfolio showcasing a range of makeup styles and applications.
