Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production machinery.
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians, providing guidance and training.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong equipment life.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational status.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar role, with a strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is highly desirable.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery, preferably in a manufacturing and production setting.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
