Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Mathematics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement an engaging and challenging Mathematics curriculum that meets national standards and inspires student achievement.
• Deliver outstanding Mathematics instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 .
• Mentor, support, and conduct performance management for other Mathematics teachers within the department.
• Promote mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills throughout the school community.
• Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in a teaching and leadership role within secondary education, preferably in London .
• Demonstrated success in raising student attainment in Mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for fostering student engagement.
• Knowledge of current educational policies and best practices in Mathematics teaching.
