Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of mechanical design engineers.
- Oversee the conceptualization, design, and development of new mechanical products and systems.
- Ensure all designs meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for design-intensive projects.
- Conduct in-depth design reviews and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance departments to ensure product success.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant advanced technical qualification.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in advanced CAD/CAE tools and simulation software.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex engineering projects from concept to launch.
- Deep understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
