Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex mechanical systems for industrial automation, robotics, and bespoke machinery.
- Lead mechanical design reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Develop detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and comprehensive technical documentation using advanced CAD software.
- Perform advanced engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with software, electrical, and systems engineers in a virtual environment to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial R&D and prototyping to manufacturing support and field issue resolution.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a significant focus on automation or robotics.
- Expertise in CAD software such as CATIA, Siemens NX, or high-end SolidWorks, and PDM systems.
- Proven experience in leading engineering projects and mentoring teams of mechanical engineers.
- Deep understanding of mechanisms, kinematics, dynamics, and control systems integration.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively manage projects in a remote setting.
