Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for new mechanical R&D projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead conceptual design and exploration of novel mechanical systems, utilizing advanced simulation and modeling techniques.
• Conduct in-depth research into emerging technologies and materials relevant to product innovation.
• Oversee the development and testing of prototypes, providing critical feedback and iteration direction.
• Collaborate effectively with remote hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and intellectual property disclosures for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant focus on R&D and new product introduction.
• Demonstrated expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) , finite element analysis (FEA), and advanced mechanical design principles.
• Proven ability to innovate and develop solutions for challenging engineering problems in a remote setting .
• Strong understanding of **thermodynamics**, mechatronics, and control systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting complex technical information clearly.
