Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing remote environment.
- Oversee the complete mechanical design process from concept to production for complex projects.
- Set technical direction and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and quality standards.
- Collaborate with product management, R&D, and manufacturing teams to define project requirements and roadmaps.
- Review designs, conduct advanced simulations, and provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively to ensure on-time delivery of mechanical solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
- Expertise in CAD software , FEA, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects from inception to launch.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and remote team management skills are paramount.
