About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Mechanical Engineer to spearhead their innovative projects from a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction for mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex mechanical assemblies and systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and performance requirements.
• Conduct thorough FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulations to predict and improve product performance and durability.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful and timely project execution in a remote setting.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure manufacturability and product quality.
• Mentor and guide junior mechanical engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical development.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in leading projects.
• Expertise in CAD/CAE software and advanced simulation techniques.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and materials science.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for managing a remote team.
