About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating effectively with remote team members and external stakeholders.
• Conduct advanced engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis, to optimize designs.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Champion best practices in design, documentation, and project management within the remote engineering department.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Demonstrated expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) , finite element analysis (FEA), and other advanced simulation techniques.
• Strong command of 3D CAD software and PLM systems for design management and version control.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and external suppliers in a project environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a commitment to delivering high-impact remote solutions.
