Lead NDT Technician

The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Lead NDT Technician for a core 3/3 rotation, mobilising from Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Inspection/NDT activities in keeping with the work scope.
• Brief inspection/NDT personnel about the tasks to be performed, the requirements and methods to be used as well as the procedures to which the work is to conform.
• Comply with permit to work systems and conduct risk and COSHH assessments as required. Ensure that the work proceeds within the permit-to-work system.

Having demonstrated a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience, personnel should hold the following qualifications as a minimum:

• IRATA Rope Access Certification
• PCN L2 UT, MPI & DPI
• RAD or ECI
• Visual Inspection
• ASME L1(desirable)
• API570 (desirable)
• Offshore Survival, Medical and MIST Certification
