Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of NLP models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, and named entity recognition.
- Oversee the entire NLP pipeline, from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model training and evaluation.
- Mentor and guide a team of NLP engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to define NLP-driven product features.
- Implement best practices for NLP development, including version control, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Natural Language Processing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of NLP techniques, algorithms, and libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience leading technical projects or teams is highly desirable.
