About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Penetration Tester to join their cutting-edge, fully remote security team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading comprehensive security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to strengthen the organization's defenses. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on penetration tests for web applications, networks, mobile applications, and cloud environments.
• Lead and mentor a team of penetration testers, providing technical guidance and reviewing assessment findings.
• Develop and maintain testing methodologies, tools, and scripts to enhance assessment efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure identified vulnerabilities are remediated effectively.
• Stay current with the latest exploitation techniques, threat vectors, and security tools.
• Communicate complex technical findings and remediation strategies clearly to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a penetration tester or ethical hacker, with a strong portfolio of completed engagements.
• In-depth knowledge of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and exploitation techniques.
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
• Experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for tool automation and custom exploit development.
• Relevant certifications like OSCP, GPEN, CEH, or CREST are highly desirable.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical risks effectively.
