Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Lead Portfolio Manager to oversee investment strategies from their established office in Leeds . This senior position involves the direct management of investment portfolios, setting asset allocation strategies, and driving investment performance to meet client objectives. You will lead a team of investment professionals, mentor junior analysts, and present portfolio performance to clients and internal committees. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and a proven track record of successful investment management within the UK financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with client mandates and risk tolerance.
- Manage a portfolio of assets, making informed buy/sell decisions.
- Conduct in-depth market research, economic analysis, and security selection.
- Lead and mentor a team of portfolio managers and investment analysts.
- Monitor portfolio risk and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA designation is essential.
- 10+ years of experience in portfolio management or investment analysis.
- Proven track record of managing significant assets and achieving competitive returns.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
