About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Process Engineer to spearhead the design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes in a remote setting. This critical role involves driving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest standards of production output. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to troubleshoot complex operational challenges and implement cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and validation of new manufacturing processes and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
- Design and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality and yield.
- Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Collaborate remotely with R&D, operations, and equipment engineering teams to ensure seamless process integration.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in process optimization, lean manufacturing , and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong understanding of process simulation, data analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent remote communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies is a plus.
